Born at the start of the most celebrated of decades, Brett has lived most of his life in southern New Hampshire, an area that lacked exhibition facilities for artists, up until recently. With the advent of the internet, he thus followed his muse to broader territories where his art might be shared among other art enthusiasts and professionals.
Published in CG Arena, Advanced Photoshop, ImagineFX, and Photoshop Retouch Magazine, Brett teaches his step-by-step approach to portrait painting. He has several movies playing on YouTube for artists interested in transitioning from conventional painting to digital painting (see a sample movie tutorial on the "Painting Tutorial!" page).
In addition to painting in both 2D and 3D mediums, he tutors beginning art instruction, he's a solo bagpipe competitor, having won awards at Loon Mt., Lincoln, NH for Piobaireachd (classical music of the the Great Highland Bagpipe) studies classical guitar, works in pre and post production videography, and writes.
