- Blow Up - For small photographs, polaroids, passport pictures, etc, you may want to have a nice small picture expanded to a really great, large picture, suitable for a large frame you can display on any wall in the home of office. It is easier to shrink the resolution of a photo than it is to "blow it up". However, I use customized tools to provide a near perfect blow up of small photos. For example, I can take a standard 4"x6" photo and expand it to 8"x10" with no noticeable degradation in quality. This service costs $5.00 per photo. If you want the enlargement printed on 8"x10" heavy-weight photographic paper (semi-gloss only) then please add an additional $5.00 per photo. Otherwise, the blown-up photo will be emailed to you as a JPEG attachment for you to download so that you can print it yourself, or have printed elsewhere.
- B&W Colorization - I can provide realistic colorization to your black and white or sepia photographs. This is a labor-intensive process requiring several high-end tools and many hours of meticulous work. Pricing for each photograph is $20, or three for $50.00.
- Restoration - Over the years, the photographic quality of an image degrades. This is manifested by yellow or sepia hues, which eventually obscure the fine details of the image. Family photographs passed down through the generations are especially prone to damages in addition to color fade. Poor storage, mishandling, and years of neglect lead to scratches, tears, blistering, and a myriad of other defects subjected to aging photographs. I can restore these photographs so that they look the same they did the day it was first taken. This is another labor-intensive process, and is reflected in the maximum pricing of $50 per photo - results 100% guaranteed or your money back (see Money Back Guarantee below). In the event the restoration is minimal, I will judge this on a case-by-case basis and refund a portion of your fees. It is not to my benefit to price-gouge the client. Return business and word-of-mouth is important to me, so I will make appropriate refunds whenever I can, based on the degree of the labor involved to restore a photograph.
- Frames - Frames are not included in pricing.
- Delivery - It can take as many as 20 hours or more to restore a severely damaged photograph. Delivery is on the average of one week. Photos with less restoration required are shipped much quicker.
- Shipping - I will email the finished restored photo(s) but can also print them on professional, heavy-weight photographic paper (semi-gloss only) for an additional $5.00 per photo. If enlarging of the photo(s) is required, please see Blow Up pricing above. Hard copy prints (and original photos if sent) are shipped in rigid packaging to protect your investment via UPS Ground. Add $6.95 for all packaging and shipping costs to your order. I will combine multiple orders for the same shipping fee. Other shipping services are also available upon request.
- Money Back Guarantee - There is a 50% Money Back Guarantee if you are not fully satisfied, or if I cannot make changes to accommodate your specifications.
